So, I just learned about #ThankYouThursday. I might be doing this wrong. I just saw a tag for it, on Instagram.
First off, thank you to everyone on the frontlines. You are helping to keep our everyday normal as possible, while putting yourself at risk. I am thankful for you everyday.
Now, let’s go to part of mindfulness journey, I have learned, even the small things are to be thankful for. Here are 3 things I am saying thank you for this Thursday.
Coffee: Ok, so as a mom, some of us need coffee. However, you tend to drink it cold. My Dad has been staying with us, since the COVID-19 outbreak happened. He is high risk, and we took him in, since our house was low risk. Since then, he has been around to help. I wake up to coffee made. He will help with Baby Cub (currently 6 months old), so I can drink a warm coffee. Thank you Dad to letting me enjoy my coffee! And thank you to coffee in general!
The Sunshine: Why the sun? Because we can play in our backyard. The older cubs get the sprinkler going and make games out of the kiddie. It helps me to cut down on screen time (let’s be honest, not by much, but something!). Thank you sun!
Hubby: This seems a given. But, what I see on Mommy groups, it isn’t as much as one would think. Thank you Hubby for helping with all 3 cubs. Thank you for helping to cook dinner. Thank you for working to help me stay home. Just a massive thank you.
As you can see, when you reflect, you can often find plenty of things, to be thankful for. Happy Thursday! What are you thankful for?
